Jubilation at PSG for Messi

INTERNATIONAL: “Messi Mania” continued late into the night in Paris on Wednesday. The newly-signed Paris Saint Germain striker was presented to fans along with his new jersey at the club's stadium. Lionel Messi waved at fans who just couldn’t stop chanting his name. He gave a thumbs-up and then threw his new jersey into the crowd. That crowd had been waiting all day to welcome him to his new home stadium - Parc des Princes.

Messi has joined the already-star-packed Paris Saint Germain from Barcelona, the club where he had begun and was expected to end his career. He’s signed a two-year contract with PSG, complete with an option for a third year. He says his dream is to help PSG win its first-ever Champions League title.
