Lionel Messi waved at fans who just couldn’t stop chanting his name. He gave a thumbs-up and then threw his new jersey into the crowd. That crowd had been waiting all day to welcome him to his new home stadium - Parc des Princes.

Messi has joined the already-star-packed Paris Saint Germain from Barcelona, the club where he had begun and was expected to end his career. He’s signed a two-year contract with PSG, complete with an option for a third year. He says his dream is to help PSG win its first-ever Champions League title.
